Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - Scotland's oldest botanical garden, it was founded in 1670 and with an area of 25 hectares. The garden was founded by two scientists, Robert and Andrew Balfoerom Sibbaldom, to study the medicinal properties of plants and the subsequent training of the young generation of doctors.
