Dinosaur Park "Dinosaur Provincial Park"
Dinosaur Park "Dinosaur Provincial Park" - a provincial park and museum at the same time of the dinosaurs. The park was established June 27, 1955 to protect the archaeological sites of the remains of prehistoric animals. The opening day of the park "Dinosaur Provincial Park" coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, Alberta.
The park is one of the largest museums in the world repositories of dinosaur fossils, and contains more than 500 species of dinosaurs! Once upon a time, millions of years ago, this place walked, ran and flew hundreds of dinosaurs. And because the area of the park is geologically stable and sustainable, earthquakes were not here for 75 million years. For this reason archaeologists and scientists have found and unearthed about 40 species of dinosaurs.
